Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) — A devastating tornado struck rural Enderlin late Friday night, leaving a trail of destruction and three confirmed fatalities.
At approximately 11:40 p.m. on June 20, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of tornado damage. Upon arrival, deputies were informed by the Enderlin Fire Department that storm chasers had located the bodies of two individuals killed by the tornado. Shortly thereafter, a third victim was discovered at another location.
Emergency responders reported extensive property damage and began immediate well-being checks with multiple partner agencies. The ongoing search includes personnel from law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency medical services.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the full impact of the storm. Sheriff Jahner will provide more details during a press conference at 7:30 a.m. at County Road 38 and Highway 46.
