Cass County (trfnews.i234.me): Electrical Fire Response at Fargo Business

Emergency crews responded Tuesday afternoon to an apparent electrical malfunction at Red River Cleaning Services in Fargo, North Dakota.
The business is located at 3343 South University Avenue.

According to initial emergency radio traffic, firefighters on scene reported loud crackling sounds coming from electrical equipment on the side of the building.
Officials said the noise was consistent with a possible electrical short or arcing issue.

The Xcel Energy crew was called to the scene to help manage and isolate the electrical problem.
Authorities confirmed there were no injuries and no reports of fire spreading inside the building.

Witnesses told TRF News they could hear crackling from outside the structure before fire crews arrived.
Responders quickly secured the area while waiting for utility technicians to arrive.

As of late Tuesday, no further details have been released regarding the cause of the malfunction.
Officials said the situation appeared to involve an external electrical system connected to the business, and crews remained on scene to ensure safety.

The Fargo Fire Department and Xcel Energy are continuing to investigate the issue.
Authorities reminded residents to stay clear of any active power lines or equipment making electrical noise and to immediately report such hazards to Xcel Energy or local emergency services.
