Carol Wilma Bushee, 81, of Grand Forks, ND, passed away peacefully at home Friday, April 19th, 2024, with her daughters by her side after a short battle with cancer.
Carol was born April 14th, 1943, in Hankinson ND. The daughter of Edward and Rose Pelzl.
Carol is survived by her daughters Sande (Mark) Kerr of Rapid City, SD, Gail (Robert) Clement of Crosby, MN, and Renee (Scott) Borden of Grand Forks, ND. Extended family Robert (Tina) Leikam of Taft, CA, Catherine (Larry) Champ of Denton, TX, 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and brother Charles Pelzl of Omaha, NE.
Carol is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Galen Bushee.
Carol worked for Altru Heath Systems in Grand Forks, ND before her retirement. She was a very gifted artist and took pride in quilting, knitting, crocheting, and painting for those she loved. Having the gift of gab made everyone she met a friend.
The family would like to express our deepest gratitude to St. Croix Hospice and prefer memorials be sent to them. Mom and Dad’s wishes were to be a part of the University of North Dakota Deeded Body Program. A private family service will take place at a later date.
