Perham, MN (trfnews.i234.me)—Troy Hunter Jack of Callaway, Minnesota, has been charged with felony assault on a peace officer and gross misdemeanor obstruction of the legal process, according to court documents.
The charges stem from an incident on February 3 at 12:30 a.m., when an officer in Perham discovered Jack lying on a sidewalk in a highly intoxicated state.
As the officer attempted to assist him, Jack became aggressive, swinging at the officer, spitting on him, and kicking him in the leg. He was subsequently taken into custody and charged.
Jack is now facing serious legal consequences, including a felony charge that could result in significant prison time if convicted.
