Caledonia, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A two-vehicle collision occurred on Monday, April 28, 2025, at approximately 10:53 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 76 and Highway 44 on the north side of Caledonia, Houston County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2019 Mazda CX9, driven by 78-year-old Harold William Fruechte of Naperville, Illinois, was traveling south on Highway 44. Simultaneously, a 1998 Chrysler Sebring, operated by 34-year-old Adrian Christophe Pedrin of Caledonia, was traveling west on Highway 44. The two vehicles collided at the intersection.
Fruechte sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at the scene. Pedrin also suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Emplify Health in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash, and alcohol was not involved.
The Caledonia Police Department, Fire Department, and Ambulance Service responded to the incident. Road conditions were reported as dry at the time of the collision.
