GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) Residents of a Wednesday morning Grand Forks house fire escaped without injury. However, 2 dogs and 2 cats died from the fire.
this update now on a fire I news first told you about at 11:18 1st Avenue North in Grand Forks on this Wednesday morning uh fire Crews performed CPR on a dog and a cat they did not survive all residents got out successfully this from battalion chief Chris Carlson at 10:32 a.m. today uh gr Fork’s fire dispatched to uh 8 1118 1st Avenue North when fire Crews arrived they found heavy smoke coming from the front of the two-story d suplex all residents exited the building before fire Personnel arrived on the scene firefighters pulled an attack line to the first floor where they found and extinguished the fire the main floor apartment suffered significant smoke and fire damage while the upstairs apartment had minor smoke damage fire department personnel performed CPR on one dog and one cat Unfortunately they did not survive in total two dogs and two cats passed away a fire investigation is still being conducted all the residents were displaced the American Red Cross is helping them find shelter I’m Neil Berg reporting for I trfnews.i234.me
