GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me)— A shocking incident unfolded in Grand Forks on Sunday, where a 16-year-old male juvenile was charged with attempted murder following a stabbing. At approximately 5:36 p.m., the Grand Forks Police Department responded to reports of a stabbing at the 800 block of Duke Drive.

Initial investigations revealed that during a heated argument, the juvenile stabbed his adult sister in the stomach. The victim was transported to the hospital by a third party. While her condition remains unknown, it is believed her injuries are non-life-threatening.

Following the stabbing, the juvenile fled the scene on foot but was later apprehended by authorities without incident. He has since been placed in juvenile detention and faces charges of attempted murder.
