we have an update regarding our report of a child hit by a vehicle on 40th Avenue South and 20th Street at 4 P.M on this Monday uh this now in from Sergeant McCloud of the Grand Forks Police Department uh it will the vehicle was traveling westbound on 40th Avenue South The Pedestrian was crossing the street when she was struck by the vehicle uh The Pedestrian a child according to radio traffic received minor non-life-threatening injuries the driver of the vehicle was issued a citation for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk due to several in progress emergency calls happening at the same time University of North Dakota Police responded to this incident and is handling the investigation uh drivers are asked to slow down be cautious and aware of your surroundings uh that was from Sergeant McLeod of the Grand Forks Police Department the driver of the vehicle is not named in this news release I’m the old Carlson reporting for itrfnews.i234.me
