BLIZZARD ALERT: Avoid Travel in the Valley on Wednesday Morning

MINNESOTA-NORTH DAKOTA (trfnews.i234.me) We’re in a Blizzard Warning across Northwest Minnesota and Easter North Dakota. Interstates are closed and no travel is advised on all roads in that area.
Neil Berg here at 4 30 a.m on a Wednesday we’re in a blizzard warning across the region here’s a look at the DOT sign out on Highway 2 at Crookston kind of sums it up blizzard warning no travel advised no travel advise on dot Maps across basically Northwest Minnesota and all of eastern North Dakota interstates are closed in eastern North Dakota I-29 from Canada to South Dakota and I-94 from Fargo out to Bismarck Highway 2 is closed from Grand Forks out to Devils Lake so most uh schools many government offices closed today and here’s the reason uh six inches to more than a foot of snow out here on Highway 2 going Westbound from Crookston to Grand Forks it hasn’t been plowed yet and the big problem is the wind is supposed to pick up here uh Gus’s High Grand Forks whether it’s in Grand Forks as high as 38 miles per hour which would quickly turn this into whiteout conditions so good day to stay put this uh blizzard warning is in effect until tomorrow morning until Thursday morning so if you can stay put no travel advised and many roads closed uh as soon as the wind if the wind picks up we’re gonna have whiteout conditions in many areas I’m Neil Berg reporting for itrfnews.i234.me
