FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – A fire erupted early Sunday morning, April 7, at 5050 Amber Parkway Drive S, leaving residents of three apartments displaced for an extended period. Bystanders reported the blaze on a balcony shortly before 2 a.m., prompting a swift response from the Fargo Fire Department.

Upon arrival, fire crews encountered heavy flames emanating from an apartment and a balcony. Initial responders tackled the exterior blaze with water, while subsequent crews worked to contain the fire within the apartment and attic spaces.

Fortunately, all residents were safely evacuated from the building, and there were no reported injuries among residents or firefighters. Eyewitnesses recounted acts of bravery as occupants assisted in extinguishing the flames before evacuating.

“Justas Thene, a resident, described how a quick-thinking neighbor used a fire extinguisher to douse a burning pillow in the hallway,” reported TRF News.

Despite the valiant efforts, the fire caused significant damage estimated at $200,000, primarily confined to the apartment and balcony. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.

The Fire Department deployed a robust response team comprising 20 personnel from multiple units, supported by the Fargo Police Department, Sanford Ambulance, Salvation Army, and Red Cross. As investigations continue, this remains a developing story.
