we had a bicycle a vehicle crash here at the uh corner of washington street and to mers around 2 45 this afternoon i just talked with sergeant dvorak who says a 39 year old female on a bicycle was northbound on washington crossing over demers avenue when she was struck by a uplander driven by a 70 year old male who was westbound no details on how serious those injuries are to the 39 year old female she was transported to altru hospital uh sergeant dvorak says at this time there are no charges the incident remains under investigation i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me

It was not at an intersection, she was crossing illegally. On a bicycle you follow the rules of the road. You go with traffic, stay on the right. Stop at signs and lights. I'm a bicyclist and I follow all the rules.
