Bemidji County (trfnews.i234.me) — A Bemidji woman is facing felony drug possession and DWI charges after authorities say she was found driving under the influence of methamphetamine.

Charges Filed in Beltrami County Court

Neribeth Rosales Nordmarken, born September 1, 1999, of Bemidji, is charged in Beltrami County District Court.

The case includes a felony charge for fifth-degree drug possession. Court documents allege Nordmarken possessed methamphetamine.

She also faces a gross misdemeanor charge for third-degree DWI involving a controlled substance.

The charges were filed in the Minnesota court system following an investigation on June 26, 2026.

Police Report Alleged Signs of Impairment

According to the criminal complaint, the investigation began around 7:53 p.m. in Bemidji.

Authorities say a vehicle was observed turning into an alley near Bemidji Avenue Northwest.

The complaint states the driver showed unusual body movements while operating the vehicle.

Authorities later identified the driver as Nordmarken.

The complaint says she was found near a parked vehicle with the driver’s door open.

Investigators reported she had rapid speech and glassy eyes.

The complaint states officers conducted field sobriety testing after observing possible signs of impairment.

Documents say Nordmarken showed several indicators that investigators believed were connected to drug impairment.

Methamphetamine Allegedly Found

According to court documents, Nordmarken told investigators she had used methamphetamine.

The complaint states she later admitted using methamphetamine more recently than she first reported.

During a search after her arrest, authorities say suspected methamphetamine was found.

The complaint states that one substance was located in her pocket.

Another suspected substance was reportedly found inside her vehicle.

Court documents say testing indicated the substances contained methamphetamine.

The complaint lists the amounts as about 1.02 grams and 2.65 grams.

Previous Court History Listed

Court records show Nordmarken previously had a DWI conviction in Beltrami County.

That conviction was dated June 16, 2021, according to the complaint.

The complaint also lists a 2024 conviction related to carrying a weapon without a permit.

The charges remain allegations, and Nordmarken is considered innocent unless proven guilty in court.
