Becker County ( trfnews.i234.me ) – A Lake Park man is facing felony charges after authorities say he violated a restraining order. Court records show he has past domestic violence convictions.
According to Becker County District Court filings, 20-year-old Gage Michael Halverson has been charged with felony harassment. The charge stems from violating a restraining order within 10 years of two previous convictions. The offense occurred on August 18, though the criminal complaint was not yet available online.
Bail and Conditions
On August 20, bail and bond amounts were set. Unconditional bail was set at $30,000. The conditional bond was set at $10,000. Cash bail with conditions was set at $900. The court outlined conditions, including no possession of firearms or dangerous weapons. Halverson must also follow any no-contact or protection orders in effect.
Next Court Appearance
Halverson’s next hearing is scheduled for September 15 before District Judge Michelle W. Lawson. If convicted, felony harassment for violating a restraining order can carry serious penalties under Minnesota law.
