ROSEAU COUNTY, MN ( – Robert Earl Armstrong, a 52-year-old resident of Baudette, Minnesota, is facing multiple charges, including felony threats of violence, following an incident in Roseau County.

According to court documents dated April 12th, Armstrong has been charged with felony threats of violence, a gross misdemeanor for DWI refusal to submit to testing, and misdemeanors for DWI and domestic assault.

The charges stem from a reported domestic violence situation. Roseau police received a tip about a vehicle stopped on Highway 11, where a female appeared terrified and was holding onto a road sign. The caller reported that she re-entered the vehicle, which then proceeded towards Roseau.

Upon pulling over the vehicle, officers observed signs of impairment in Armstrong, who later refused testing, claiming he had only consumed a couple of shots.
