ROSEAU COUNTY, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Robert Earl Armstrong, a 52-year-old resident of Baudette, Minnesota, is facing multiple charges, including felony threats of violence, following an incident in Roseau County.

According to court documents dated April 12th, Armstrong has been charged with felony threats of violence, a gross misdemeanor for DWI refusal to submit to testing, and misdemeanors for DWI and domestic assault.

The charges stem from a reported domestic violence situation. Roseau police received a tip about a vehicle stopped on Highway 11, where a female appeared terrified and was holding onto a road sign. The caller reported that she re-entered the vehicle, which then proceeded towards Roseau.

Upon pulling over the vehicle, officers observed signs of impairment in Armstrong, who later refused testing, claiming he had only consumed a couple of shots. The female victim alleged that Armstrong had assaulted her, striking her in the ear and threatening to kill her if she tried to leave, stating she did not deserve to breathe. She also reported previous incidents of physical violence.

Armstrong’s legal proceedings will determine the outcome of these serious charges.
