Barnesville Man Busted After $8,000 Burglary Spree – Found Hiding on Tires – trfnews.i234.me

Clay County, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A Clay County man has been charged with two felonies after being caught red-handed during an ongoing burglary investigation that spanned over a month.

Cameron Bryce Berg, 23, of Barnesville, MN, was arrested on May 25, 2025, after a property owner caught sight of a suspect inside his shop with a flashlight and called authorities. Deputies responded and found Berg hiding on top of tires near the property.

The victim, identified as D.G.H., had reported multiple break-ins and thefts from his property. Upon questioning, Berg confessed to stealing a four-wheeler, tools, and other items over several weeks. A search of Berg’s property uncovered $8,360 worth of stolen items.

Berg is now facing:

  • Felony Theft (Property over $5,000)

  • Felony 3rd Degree Burglary

If convicted, he could face years behind bars and steep fines.
