THOMPSON, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – In a recent update on the fire incident near Thompson, a rural area just a couple of miles out of town, authorities revealed significant details about the blaze. The fire, which occurred on Tuesday evening, engulfed an abandoned house situated by a tree line.
Sergeant Davidson of the Grand Forks Sheriff’s Department reported that no one was present at the scene when the fire ignited, and there were no vehicles in the vicinity. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. However, the abandoned structure was completely destroyed by the flames.
The fire also spread to nearby brush in the tree line, intensifying the situation. Despite efforts to contain it, the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
As rural communities remain vigilant against such incidents, authorities urge residents to report any suspicious activities to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
