Thief River Falls (trfnews.i234.me) — A violent crash rocked Thief River Falls on the morning of March 25 at 9:35 a.m. when two vehicles collided at the intersection of Sixth Street and Main Avenue.
Hunter Terrell, a local resident, was driving a 2010 Honda CR-V along Sixth Street, while June Kasprowicz of Karlstad traveled on Main Avenue in a 2014 Chevy Equinox. The vehicles smashed into each other, the force of the impact pushing both onto a yard curb.
Emergency responders rushed Kasprowicz and her adult female passenger to Sanford Medical Center in Thief River Falls. Authorities have not released the passenger’s identity.
A stop sign was posted on Sixth Street where the accident occurred. Terrell was cited for failing to yield while approaching the intersection.
The scene left residents shaken and raised concerns over traffic safety at that crossing.
