1 Hour Standoff & Arrest In Grand Forks Sunday Afternoon


GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) We have an update regarding police surrounding a Grand Forks apartment building Sunday afternoon. Police say there was a 1 hour standoff, before Jason Houle walked out of an apartment and surrendered to police.
And an update on some breaking news out of uh Grand Forks on this Sunday afternoon. This was about uh 200 p.m. at the Winterland Apartments at 4275th Avenue North. I will uh take you down to the scene here. We were on the scene when uh Sergeant Peton says a Jason Hool was arrested. Uh, Sergeant Peton says there was about a 1-hour standoff and they had just uh called SWAT, but then HooL walked out of the apartment and he was arrested. Uh, here’s a closer look from an Eye News viewer photo here. Uh, Sergeant Peton says HooL had three outstanding warrants. Search of court record shows he has pending cases of domestic violence, possession of meth, and failure to appear bail jumping. I’m Bob Carlson reporting for newsw.tv.
