Thief River Falls Police Department Cases

Kelvin Daniel Herrera-Palma, 24, Thief River Falls: Herrera-Palma was charged with theft amounting to $210, with a sentence of 91 days in jail considered to be served. Felony charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon, terroristic threats, and first-degree aggravated robbery were dismissed.

Branden Wayne Rausch, 31, Thief River Falls: Rausch faced a gross misdemeanor charge of fifth-degree controlled substance crime and was fined $210. He was sentenced to 364 days in jail, with 133 days stayed for two years, and the sentence is to be served concurrently with another case. He received credit for 231 days already served and will be on supervised probation for two years. A comprehensive assessment and recommended treatment and aftercare are required within 60 days of sentencing. A charge of driving after revocation was dismissed.

Fernando Alberto Lopez, 19, Thief River Falls: Lopez was charged with a driver’s license violation and fined $185. A charge of driving without insurance was dismissed.

Quinn Blaine Hibbert, 45, Thief River Falls: Hibbert faced charges for driving after suspension and was fined $285. He was also fined $200 for driving without insurance and $30 for expired registration.

Devin Ray Alkire, 23, Thief River Falls: Alkire was fined $135 for allowing dogs and cats to run at large.

Lucas Myron Bolek, 25, Thief River Falls: Bolek was fined $135 for failure to stop at a stop sign.

Amber Marie Deegan, 28, Redby: Deegan was fined $135 for disorderly conduct.

Mark Alan Dimmen, 60, Thief River Falls: Dimmen was fined $115 for expired vehicle registration.

Melissa Kay Fawcett, 59, Thief River Falls: Fawcett was fined $135 for failure to yield.

Bruce Robert Gangelhoff, 36, Thief River Falls: Gangelhoff was fined $115 for failing to display required license plate registration stickers.

Rose Scarlett Johnson, 39, Red Lake Falls: Johnson was fined $115 for expired registration.

Logas Logas Olman-Uriel, 23, Thief River Falls: Olman-Uriel was fined $135 for failure to yield.

Jordan Scott Stone, 32, Newfolden: Stone was fined $135 for driving without a required muffler.

Pennington County Sheriff’s Office Cases

Devin Taylor Ales, 28, Thief River Falls: Ales was charged with fourth-degree criminal damage to property and fined $210. He received a 30-day jail sentence, stayed for one year, and was placed on probation to the court for one year. He is required to supply a DNA sample. Felony charges of first-degree burglary and terroristic threats were dismissed.

Allen Lee Rodriguez, 41, Uniondale, NY: A charge of harassment related to a restraining order violation was dismissed.

Christopher Chad Walseth, 47, Thief River Falls: Charges of driving after revocation and driving without insurance were dismissed.

Minnesota State Patrol Cases

Christopher Chad Walseth, 47, Thief River Falls: Walseth was charged with third-degree DWI and fined $715. Branden Wayne Rausch, 31, Thief River Falls: Charges related to fishing and gaming violations, including taking fish without an angling license and fleeing an officer not in a motor vehicle, were dismissed.
