CAPTURED ON VIDEO: Pursuit Of Juvenile In St. Paul Suburb

RAMSEY COUNTY, MN (trfnews.i234.me) A Saturday pursuit of a juvenile in Ramsey County, Minnesota was captured on video.
[Music] the pursuit of a 17-year-old juvenile male captured on video by the Ramsey County, Minnesota Sheriff’s Office. Uh this is in a suburb of uh St. Paul. This from the sheriff’s office. Quote, “He was a 17-year-old behind the wheel of a stolen savan, but first he wanted to steal some items from Walmart this past Saturday morning in Vadus Heights. That’s where our deputies located him in the car, but he took off before they could box him in. A pursuit ensued. The suspect left Walmart parking lot in the stolen uh vehicle with more than $70 worth of ill gotten goods. Our deputy was right behind him, lights and sirens, letting others know what was coming their way. The suspect headed east on County Road uh on a county road. He brief briefly swerved into oncoming lane and then lost control and crashed into a sign outside of a local business. The deputy put the squad car into the driver’s door to make it more difficult for the suspect to evade arrest, but the juvenile climbed out of the passenger side door and tried to run away. He didn’t get far, giving himself up once he encountered an offense uh not far from the spot. He’s now in custody awaiting charges. I’m Bob Carlson reporting for newsw.tv.
