FARGO, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) — A 21-year-old Fargo resident, Fidele Ndaruhutse, has been charged with robbery following an incident involving a Fargo South High School student. According to the criminal complaint, in October, Ndaruhutse approached the student as they were walking home from school, demanded the student’s cell phone under the pretense of making a call, and then took the device. He is also accused of assaulting the student by punching them in the chest and issuing a threat to stab them.

In November, Ndaruhutse was arrested in connection with a separate incident. He allegedly attempted to coerce a woman into sexual acts and, upon her refusal, robbed her. These actions have led to additional felony charges, including attempted gross sexual imposition and robbery. He is currently held at the Cass County Jail on a $500,000 cash bond.
