Thief River Falls (trfnews.i234.me) — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash at a Thief River Falls intersection on Dec. 22. One pickup spun and hit a street sign. No injuries were reported.
Crash reported at Knight Avenue and 11th Street
According to the report, police were called at 10:12 a.m. The crash happened at the intersection of Knight Avenue and 11th Street.
Police said Gary Holmgren of St. Hilaire was driving a 2005 Ford F-150. The report said he was traveling southbound on Knight Avenue.
Police said the Ford then collided with a 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 LTX. The Silverado was driven by Eric Heath of Larimore, North Dakota. Police said Heath was traveling eastbound on 11th Street.

Pickup spins and hits the street sign
After the crash, the report said Heath’s pickup spun out of control. Police said it then struck a street sign.
No injuries reported
Police said there were no known injuries. No other details about damage were released in the report.
Citations issued
Holmgren was cited for uninsured vehicle – owner and failure to yield, according to the report.
