FARGO, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) – A former Fargo bar owner, 51-year-old Barrett Prody, has entered a guilty plea to federal charges linked to a cocaine trafficking operation spanning North Dakota, Minnesota, South Florida, and other areas. Prody, previously associated with JT Cigarro’s and O’Leary’s Irish Pub, admitted guilt to conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance, obstruction of justice, money laundering, and operating a continuing criminal enterprise.
An affidavit reveals that two confidential law enforcement sources confessed to purchasing significant amounts of cocaine from Prody over three years. They later assisted in transporting the drugs. One source was apprehended during a traffic stop in Illinois in June 2023, reportedly carrying a kilogram of cocaine intended for Fargo.
Prody is scheduled for sentencing on February 19, 2025.
