GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) — Jeffery Dalton Stanley, 56, the former CEO of Langdon Prairie Health (formerly Cavalier County Memorial Hospital), turned himself in on Friday, Nov. 22, nearly a month after an arrest warrant was issued for indecent exposure. The charge, a Class A misdemeanor, relates to an incident at Grand Forks’ Grand Cities Mall on Oct. 21, where Stanley was allegedly recorded masturbating in a common area.
Witnesses initially declined to sign a citizen’s arrest form, delaying law enforcement action. Three witnesses later came forward, leading to charges filed on Oct. 24 and a warrant issued on Oct. 25.
Stanley’s attorney, Blake Dylan Hankey, confirmed his client’s intention to cooperate. Stanley was booked and released on Nov. 22 after securing a $500 unsecured appearance bond. He pleaded not guilty and faces up to 360 days in jail and $3,000 in fines if convicted.
The next court appearance, a final dispositional conference, is set for March 27.
