GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) — Douglas Allen Austreng, 61, has been charged with various crimes related to narcotics. On October 29, law enforcement executed a search warrant on his residence.
During this operation, they allegedly found multiple substances: approximately 1,001.4 grams of methamphetamine (including packaging), 30.23 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 0.82 grams of cocaine, and 48.7 grams of marijuana. Additionally, $3,844 in U.S. currency was discovered along with a digital scale and designer baggies.
Austreng is facing charges for Class A felony possession of at least 50 grams of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, Class B felony possession of a schedule I hallucinogenic substance (psilocybin mushrooms) with intent to deliver, Class A misdemeanor cocaine possession, and Class B misdemeanor possession of at least half an ounce but less than 500 grams of marijuana.
Austreng’s initial court appearance is scheduled for November 1.
