Pennington County, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A Canadian Pacific Railway train struck a vehicle while crossing south of Thief River Falls on Friday afternoon. The driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
According to reports from the scene, the train hit the car as it attempted to cross the tracks. Sheriff Seth Vettleson stated that the victim is believed to be a college student from out of state and was the only person in the vehicle at the time of the incident.
The driver’s name has not been released due to privacy concerns. The accident occurred near the stop sign, with some debris visible behind it.
