Grand Forks Man Arrested in Domestic Incident Turned House Fire

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) — James Laducer, a 36-year-old man from Grand Forks, was taken into custody by police for his alleged involvement in a domestic incident that turned violent and resulted in a house fire on Wednesday night.

According to reports, officers were called to 631 4th Ave S shortly after 10 p.m. due to a disturbance at the residence. The situation quickly escalated when Laducer got into an argument with a woman, causing her serious injuries.

Additionally, two young juveniles were inside the home during the incident. Police say that Laducer set various objects on fire in the house before attempting to flee from a second-floor window.

However, officers stopped him outside and he became involved in another dispute with police prior to being taken into custody.

Laducer is facing charges of endangerment by fire, preventing arrest, and domestic aggravating assault. He has been arrested and will face formal charges related to the incident.”
