BECKER COUNTY, Minn. (trfnews.i234.me) — Two men lost their lives in a devastating three-vehicle crash on Highway 59, north of Detroit Lakes, on Tuesday afternoon. The victims, a 33-year-old man from Detroit Lakes and a 60-year-old man from Hawley, were pronounced dead at the scene. Their names will be released on Wednesday.
In one of the other vehicles, an 84-year-old man and an 82-year-old woman from Fosston sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Essentia for treatment. A 59-year-old woman from Bagley, who was in the third vehicle, was not injured.
Minnesota State Patrol Sgt. Jesse Grabow stated that the sequence of events leading to the crash is still under investigation.
