Cracked Windshield Leads to Traffic Stop

At approximately 5:03 p.m., a Hubbard County sheriff’s deputy stopped a vehicle traveling along Highway 2.

The deputy approached the vehicle and identified the driver as Jacklyn Moose.

The deputy also described both men as appearing extremely nervous during the encounter.

Investigators asked Dominic May to exit the vehicle.

As Dominic stepped outside, the deputy noticed a can of an alcoholic beverage on the floor.

The can was located directly behind Shawn May’s leg.

According to court records, the container was nearly full when deputies recovered it.

Shawn May reportedly acknowledged that the alcoholic beverage belonged to him.

Investigators seized the pipe and conducted a field test on the residue.

According to the complaint, the test returned a positive result for methamphetamine.
