A woman from Viking, Minnesota, was injured in a single-vehicle accident on Saturday afternoon in Marshall County. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Tiffany Lynn Nelson, 30, was driving eastbound on Highway 1 near 380th Avenue North in Warren when her 2007 GMC Yukon veered off the road and entered a ditch.
Nelson, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. She was transported to Altru Grand Forks for treatment. Authorities confirmed that alcohol was not a factor in the incident, which occurred just before 2:30 PM.
