Motorcyclist Killed in Oak Grove After Being Rear-Ended by SUV

OAK GROVE, Minn. (trfnews.i234.me) – A tragic accident in Oak Grove claimed the life of 49-year-old motorcyclist Kelly Matthew Linder from Albert Lea on Saturday afternoon. According to the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office, Linder was stopped on Northwest Viking Boulevard, waiting to make a left turn, when his motorcycle was struck from behind by an SUV just before noon.

First responders immediately began life-saving efforts, and an air ambulance was dispatched, but Linder was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet announced any charges against the SUV driver, and investigations are ongoing.

The Minnesota State Patrol, Anoka County Sheriff’s Office, and Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office are working to determine the cause of the crash.
