On the evening of 09/25/26, a Red Lake County deputy assisted Polk County deputies with the arrest of an individual in Red Lake Falls. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office held an active felony Warrant for the party. They were arrested without incident, and the Polk County Sheriff’s Office is handling the ongoing investigation.
On the afternoon of 09/27/26, Wyatt Daniel Rudnik (24) of Hendrum was cited for speeding on CR. #5 north of Oklee.
On the afternoon of 09/27/26, a Red Lake County deputy responded to a disturbance at a Red Lake Falls residence. The deputy found that two individuals were involved in a verbal argument. No crimes had been committed, the parties were counseled and the situation was mediated.
On the afternoon of 09/28/26, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a disturbance at a Red Lake Falls residence. Red Lake County law enforcement officers responded and found a parent and a teenage child were having a verbal dispute. No crimes were committed, they were counseled and the incident was mediated.
On the evening of 09/28/26, a Red Lake County deputy responded to a residence in Oklee to investigate a reported issue between a teenage child and their guardians. No crimes were committed, the involved parties were counseled and the situation was mediated.
On the afternoon of 09/29/26, an individual brought a bicycle to the Sheriff’s Office. They claimed they found the bike near Harren Dr. in Red Lake Falls, and it had been at the same location for several days. If anyone believes the bicycle is theirs, they can contact the Sheriff’s Office.
On the evening of 09/29/26, Red Lake County law enforcement officers, along with members of the Special Response Team conducted a search of a property in the city of Plummer. They were looking for an individual who had an active gross misdemeanor warrant for their arrest for violating the terms of their probation. It was believed the suspect was at that location, but law enforcement officers could not locate them. The suspect remains at large, but there is no threat to public safety.
On the afternoon of 09/30/26, a Red Lake Falls resident reported their juvenile child had left their residence without permission and they were requesting assistance in locating them. That juvenile ended up at a St. Hilaire residence and an adult brought the child back to their residence and the matter was resolved.
On the afternoon of 09/30/26, an Oklee resident reported a theft of property. That report remains under investigation.
On the afternoon of 10/01/26, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report of horses running loose near CR. #7 east of Hwy. #59. The owner was contacted and they got the horses back into their enclosure.
On the afternoon of 10/01/26, an individual reported a vehicle was driving recklessly in Riverside Park in Red Lake Falls. A Red Lake County deputy responded but was unable to locate the suspect vehicle.
On 10/02/26, a formal criminal complaint was filed, charging Lynn Ray Beadles (76) of Sioux Falls, SD with misdemeanor theft of services and misdemeanor criminal damage to property. The criminal complaint alleges Mr. Beadle used campground services at Sportsman’s Park in Red Lake Falls with the intention of not paying for those services. It is alleged he also drove his camper through an unauthorized portion of the park, causing over $100 damage to the grounds. These crimes occurred in October of 2025. Mr. Beadles will be summonsed to appear in Court in Red Lake Falls later this month.
