THIEF RIVER FALLS, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – John Charles Isleman of Thief River Falls, Minnesota, is now facing a felony charge after being found in a stolen vehicle over 500 miles away. According to court documents, on September 11th, a Thief River Falls resident reported their Jeep Grand Cherokee missing, which had been stolen from their driveway with the keys inside.
The next day, the sheriff in Glasgow, Montana, contacted a deputy in Thief River Falls, confirming that the stolen vehicle had been pulled over during a traffic stop. Isleman, who was driving the Jeep without license plates, had earlier been spotted at a local post office asking for directions to California.
Isleman admitted to leaving Thief River Falls and “going for a drive.” He was promptly arrested in Montana and transported back to Minnesota, where he now faces felony charges for motor vehicle theft.
