Former North Dakota State men’s basketball standout Sam Griesel will return to Telekom Baskets Bonn in Germany for his second professional season.
As a rookie in the 2023-24 season for Bonn, Griesel averaged 7.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.4 assists over more than 50 contests. He shot 39 percent from three-point range and 47 percent overall.
Griesel was named to the All-Summit League first team as a senior in 2022 after averaging 15.2 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game while shooting 46 percent from beyond the arc in league play. He amassed 976 points, 558 rebounds, and 225 assists in his four seasons at NDSU from 2018-22.
