Newfolden Man Cited for Theft After Allegedly Leaving Convenience Store Without Paying

A Newfolden area man, identified as 34-year-old Evan Maki, was cited for theft after allegedly leaving a Thief River Falls convenience store without paying for gas and cigarettes. According to reports, Maki attempted to charge his purchases, but when informed that he could not, he walked out of the store without completing the transaction.

The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. on Monday, and police were called to the scene shortly after. Maki has been cited for theft in connection to the incident.
