Gene Arnold Berg, 89
Middle River – Gene Arnold Berg, age 89, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2026, surrounded by his loving children. A proud Army Veteran, Gene made Colorado his home and together with his wife of 66 year’s, Anita (Aase), raised a close-knit family. He was a devoted husband and father to Russel, Terri, Randell, and Trudi and a cherished grandfather to ten grandchildren, siblings Pat Jenson, Jerome Berg, Judy Scramstad, and Earl Berg.
Throughout his life, Gene remained true to the things he loved: cheering for Minnesota sports, working in construction, listening to county music, and tending to his garden.
Gene will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Colorado.
