GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – An 11-year-old boy in Grand Forks is recovering from minor injuries following a bicycle accident on Monday evening that could have been far more serious. The incident occurred around 7:40 p.m. at the intersection of Gateway Drive and Washington Street.
According to Lieutenant Stein of the Grand Forks Police Department, the young cyclist disregarded traffic and attempted to cross Washington Street when he collided with a passing car. Fortunately, the boy sustained only a few minor scrapes and did not suffer any life-threatening injuries.
No one involved in the accident required transportation to the hospital, and police have not issued any citations at this time.
