What the police say happened

According to the statement of probable cause, an arena worker contacted law enforcement on December 15.

The report came in at about 10:40 a.m., police said.

Police were told suspicious items were left outside the arena’s front doors.

The items were brought to the police department for review.

Police say the items included a yellow grocery bag and four separate packs of hamburger.

Investigators also reported a note inside the items.

The note stated: “Which bomb goes off first? One, two, three, or four?”

Police say the number “one” was circled.

Prior incident and surveillance

The probable cause statement describes a prior incident at the arena on December 12.

Police say Lunbohm had been trespassed from the arena after that earlier incident.

Investigators then looked at surveillance video from the arena, the complaint says.

Police say the video showed a vehicle matching the one Lunbohm is known to drive.

Another camera view showed a man matching Lunbohm’s description near the doors.

Police say the man appeared to place something on a door handle.

Arrest and response

Lunbohm was later arrested, according to the complaint.

Police say he told investigators people were misunderstanding the note.

The case remains pending in court.

Charging documents are allegations and do not prove guilt.
