MINNESOTA (trfnews.i234.me) – The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency has announced that the current air quality alert affecting northern Minnesota will expire at noon today, Monday. The alert was issued due to unhealthy air conditions caused by smoke from Canadian wildfires, which blanketed much of the state over the weekend.
While the air quality is expected to improve later today, smoke continues to drift south, causing moderate conditions across the region. Residents who have been dealing with the smoky skies can expect some relief as the day progresses.
