Complaint Describes July Investigation
The investigation began early July 7, 2026, after police responded to a reported dispute in Bemidji.
Officers found a 17-year-old girl inside a vehicle with an adult female relative.
The teenager told police she felt unsafe around Robinson, according to the complaint.
The adult relative later told officers she had seen troubling messages and images on the teenager’s phone.
The complaint says the teenager showed officers an explicit image allegedly sent by Robinson.
She also alleged Robinson requested sexual images from her and sent sexual messages while she was underage.
Investigators later arrested Robinson at his residence.
Defendant Allegedly Admitted Sending Image
During a recorded interview, Robinson allegedly admitted sending an explicit image several years earlier.
He reportedly said he sent it through Snapchat while he was in his early twenties.
Investigators believed the girl was about 13 or 14 when the image was sent.
The complaint also says officers compared a visible hand tattoo with Robinson’s tattoo.
Robinson remains presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
