Grant County Crash Kills Tesla Driver on I-94
Grant County (trfnews.i234.me) — A fatal three-vehicle crash on Interstate 94 in Grant County killed a Woodbury man and injured two other people Sunday afternoon.
The crash happened July 19, 2026, at about 3:57 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 94 near mile marker 80 in Erdahl Township.
According to the crash report, a 2022 Tesla Model Y and a 2016 Ford Fusion collided on the interstate. A 2025 Toyota Crown Signia then struck vehicles involved in the first crash.
Woodbury Man Killed in Collision
The Tesla driver was identified as 73-year-old Harold Ennulat of Woodbury, Minnesota. Officials reported he suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
Ennulat was wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision. Alcohol was not suspected as a factor.
The Tesla passenger, 65-year-old Kari Deann Ennulat, also of Woodbury, suffered life-threatening injuries. She was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment.
Other Driver Seriously Injured
The Ford Fusion driver was identified as 24-year-old Koleman John Lind of Jamestown, North Dakota.
Lind suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to St. Cloud Hospital.
The Ford’s airbag deployed during the crash. Lind was wearing a seat belt, and alcohol was not suspected.
Toyota Driver Not Injured
The Toyota Crown Signia driver was identified as 63-year-old Debra Lea Middleton of Mandan, North Dakota.
Middleton was not injured in the crash. Her vehicle’s airbags did not deploy.
She was also wearing a seat belt, and alcohol was not suspected.
Emergency Crews Respond
Several agencies responded to the crash, including the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, Ashby Fire and Ambulance, Evansville Fire Department, North Memorial EMS, and Lifelink.
The roadway was reported dry at the time of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation. Authorities reported the information was considered complete as of the last update on July 19, 2026.
Drivers are reminded to use caution on interstate highways and remain alert around stopped or damaged vehicles.
