Walker Man Charged in Occupied Home Burglary
Walker (trfnews.i234.me) — A Walker man faces a felony charge after an alleged burglary at an occupied home.
Michael Harlys Morrison-Reese, 35, has been charged with first-degree burglary in Cass County District Court.
The charge involves an occupied dwelling with a person present inside.
The alleged incident happened during the afternoon of February 5, 2026.
Resident Reports Unauthorized Entry
According to the criminal complaint, law enforcement responded to an Onigum Road home at about 1:31 p.m.
A woman reported that her son was home alone when Morrison-Reese arrived.
The complaint says Morrison-Reese had recently been told to leave the residence.
He allegedly entered the home and removed several items from a room.
Some items reportedly belonged to Morrison-Reese. Other property allegedly belonged to the woman.
Two Bose car speakers were among the items reported missing.
Security Video Reviewed
The woman showed investigators security video recorded inside the home.
The footage allegedly showed Morrison-Reese entering and arguing with the woman’s son.
He was later seen leaving a room while carrying several items, the complaint states.
The two men then had another confrontation inside the home.
The resident can reportedly be heard telling Morrison-Reese to leave several times.
Investigators contacted Morrison-Reese by telephone later that afternoon.
He claimed the resident allowed him inside the home.
He also claimed the resident threatened him with a firearm.
However, investigators reported seeing no firearm during their review of the security footage.
Charge Carries Possible Prison Sentence
Morrison-Reese is charged under Minnesota Statute 609.582.
A first-degree burglary conviction can carry up to 20 years in prison.
The offense may also carry a fine of up to $35,000.
The case was filed in Minnesota’s Ninth Judicial District under court file 11-CR-26-611.

The charge is an allegation. Morrison-Reese is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
