Thief River Falls (trfnews.i234.me) β A Thief River Falls man was sentenced in Pennington County District Court.
Nicholas Arley Hagman, 30, was sentenced Monday, Dec. 8, court records say.
He was sentenced on a felony charge of first-degree controlled substance crime.
The case involved the sale of methamphetamine after a prior conviction.

The court sentenced Hagman to 128 months in prison.
The court also ordered a lifetime ban on firearms and ammunition.
The order also includes explosives, court records say.
Hagman was ordered to provide a DNA sample.
He was also ordered to pay $210 in fees and fines.
Investigation and controlled buys
Court records say the case came from a drug investigation in Thief River Falls.
Authorities say an informant contacted an investigator on Christmas 2024.
The informant said Hagman was trying to sell meth.
Authorities say the informant then made several buys under surveillance.
The informant used the drug task force buy money, court records say.
On the day after Christmas, authorities say Hagman sold about two grams of meth for $140.
The deal happened in the parking lot of America’s Best Value Inn & Suites.
On Jan. 7, authorities say Hagman sold about 3.7 grams of meth for $120.
The deal happened in the parking lot of Cenex Travel Plaza.
About a week later, authorities say Hagman sold about 3.3 grams of meth for $200.
The deal happened again at the hotel parking lot, court records say.
Walmart meeting and later exchange
On Jan. 15, court records say Hagman contacted the informant with a larger offer.
Authorities say the two met in the Walmart parking lot.
The informant exchanged $200 and was told to wait for a later delivery.
The next day, authorities say Hagman delivered about 8.3 grams of meth.
Court records say he could not provide the full amount first discussed.
February deal and another suspect
On Feb. 4, authorities say Hagman discussed another sale of meth.
The meeting location changed, court records say.
Authorities say a woman, Jezzirae Krueckeberg, arrived to pick up the informant.
Authorities say the exchange then happened through Krueckeberg.
Court records say $200 was exchanged for about five grams of meth.
The case involving Krueckeberg is still moving through the court system.
