Robert Wayne Sayers was charged Friday in Cass County District Court.

He faces reckless endangerment with extreme indifference, a Class C felony. Sayers was arraigned Friday afternoon.

Vehicle Followed Through Fargo Neighborhood

Police responded around 5:30 p.m. Thursday, July 9. The crash happened near 58th Street South and Beach Lane Street South.

The victim said he and another driver had been shooting hockey pucks at Sheyenne High School.

The victim believed the Cadillac’s occupants thought they were being watched.

Police said the Cadillac then followed both vehicles through the residential neighborhood.

The victim reported speeds near 50 mph during the pursuit. He slowed near a stop sign while preparing to turn.

Police said the Cadillac then struck the victim’s vehicle from behind.
