Red Lake County (trfnews.i234.me) — Deputies handled several calls from June 5 through June 12.

Reports included arrests, traffic stops, animal complaints, and an ATV crash.

Speeding Citations and DWI Arrest

Seth William Erickson, 43, of East Grand Forks, received a speeding citation on June 5.

The stop happened on County Road 13 west of Red Lake Falls.

Shelly Rae Havens, 45, of Sherwood, Oregon, was cited later that day.

Her stop occurred on County Road 11 west of Red Lake Falls.

Julie Vanessa P. Ibanez, 30, of Fargo, was cited for speeding on June 6.

The stop happened on Highway 32 south of Red Lake Falls.

Also, on June 6, deputies received a report of a suspected impaired driver.

The vehicle was traveling from Erskine toward Thief River Falls.

A deputy stopped the vehicle on Highway 59 north of Plummer.

Larry Edward Robb, 67, of Thief River Falls, was arrested.

Robb was booked into the Crookston jail on a misdemeanor DWI allegation.

He was released from custody the following day.

Authorities said Robb will receive a court summons in Red Lake Falls.

The charge remains an allegation unless proven in court.

Family, Animal, and Property Calls

On June 5, deputies helped an Oklee family after a young child repeatedly left home.

Deputies found the child and returned them safely.

The parent and child received guidance from deputies. No further action was reported.

On June 9, deputies mediated a reported threat involving an Oklee resident.

They also responded to a requested property exchange.

The parties resolved the property matter before the deputy arrived.

No further help was needed.

That evening, an aggressive loose dog was reported at Riverside Park.

Joshua Lee Fearing, 42, of Red Lake Falls, was cited.

The citation involved a misdemeanor ordinance violation for allowing a dog to run at large.

Deputies received another dog complaint on June 11.

The owner agreed to address repeated barking in a Red Lake Falls neighborhood.

Probation Arrest, Spray Damage, and ATV Crash

Brandon Tyler Olson, 38, of Red Lake Falls, was arrested June 11.

Authorities said he violated the terms of his supervised probation.

Olson was taken to the Crookston jail.

A Lake Pleasant Township resident reported tree damage from farm spray drift on June 10.

Deputies gathered information about the complaint.

The resident was directed to the Minnesota Department of Agriculture.

Early June 12, a deputy found a man lying beside Highway 32.

The deputy gave the man a ride to his requested destination.

Later that morning, emergency crews responded to an ATV crash on Main Avenue.

The lone rider suffered cuts and scrapes to the head.

Ambulance staff treated the rider at the scene.

The rider later traveled by private vehicle to an emergency room.

The ATV crash remains under investigation.

Rebels Receive State Tournament Send-Off

Emergency agencies escorted the Section 8A champion Red Lake County Rebels from town on June 10.

The baseball team was traveling to the state tournament.
