Isle Harbor Township (trfnews.i234.me) – A tragic pedestrian accident occurred on December 10, 2025, at 6:27 AM, on Highway 27 near 400th Street in Isle Harbor Township, Mille Lacs County. A 2012 Cadillac CTS, driven by 41-year-old Tyrone Clinton Smith of Isle, MN, was traveling northbound when it struck a pedestrian crossing the highway.
The pedestrian, 39-year-old Danielle Lee Boyd of Minneapolis, MN, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Smith, the driver of the Cadillac, was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash and was not injured. No alcohol was involved in the incident.
The road conditions at the time were snow-covered and icy, which may have contributed to the tragic collision. Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s Office, Isle Police Department, and Isle Fire responded to the scene.
