Melena Pearl Folstrom, 45, of White Earth, is charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. The case was filed in Minnesota’s Seventh Judicial District.
The charge stems from an incident reported on or about May 12, 2026, in Becker County. Court records list the case number as 03-CR-26-955.
Court Complaint Details
According to the complaint, law enforcement was serving a search warrant at a Becker County residence. During that operation, a vehicle reportedly arrived at the location.
The complaint states Folstrom was the only person in the vehicle. She then walked toward law enforcement officers at the scene.
Officers reported signs of possible alcohol use during the contact. The complaint says they smelled alcohol and noted bloodshot, watery eyes.
They also reported that Folstrom’s speech was slurred. A preliminary breath test was then given at the scene.
