Frazee Man Sentenced in Becker County Theft Case
Becker County (trfnews.i234.me) — Daryl Jacob Aho, 38, of rural Frazee, has been sentenced in Becker County District Court for felony theft.
Two other felony theft charges were dropped as part of a plea agreement, according to court records.
What court records say happened
Court records say the theft happened during the summer of 2024.
Records say Aho took several firearms from a shop and farm where he worked.
The property was linked to County Road 151, according to the court file.
Records say the items were later pawned.
Recovered and missing items
Court records say one handgun was recovered.
It is described as a .45 caliber M1911 Rock Island Armory pistol.
Records note it had customized rubber grips.
Two rifles were still listed as missing in the file.

Sentence and probation terms
On Nov. 26, District Judge Michael Fritz issued a stay of imposition.
That means the conviction can be reduced if probation is completed successfully.
Court records say it would become a misdemeanor upon successful completion.
Aho was ordered to serve 20 days in jail.
He received credit for the three days already served.
The court also imposed financial penalties.

- $85 in court fees.
- $197.50 in restitution.
Probation terms listed in the file include no drug or alcohol use.
Records also list a ban on possessing firearms, ammunition, or explosives.
He was ordered to complete cognitive skills training.
