Mahnomen County (trfnews.i234.me) — A Lengby man is facing a gross misdemeanor charge in Mahnomen County District Court.

Aaron Cody Clark, 38, of Lengby, has been charged with driving after cancellation. The complaint says his license was canceled as inimical to public safety.

The charge was filed in Minnesota’s Ninth Judicial District. The court file number is 44-CR-26-191.

Traffic Stop Reported On County Road 4

According to the complaint, the case began on March 22, 2026.

A peace officer reported seeing a vehicle with White Earth Plate V768 near County Road 4 in Mahnomen County.

The complaint says law enforcement knew the vehicle was associated with Clark.

Authorities also reported Clark’s driving status was still canceled at that time.

The officer identified Clark as the driver, according to the complaint.

Complaint Says Driver Acknowledged Status

The complaint states Clark pulled into a residence. The officer then pulled in behind him.

Clark was told his license was canceled as inimical to public safety.

The complaint says Clark acknowledged his license status during the contact.

Clark is charged under Minnesota Statute 171.24.

The charge is listed as a gross misdemeanor.

If convicted, Clark could face up to 364 days in jail. He could also face a $3,000 fine, or both.

A criminal complaint is not a conviction.

Clark is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
