Narrative:

On June 29th, 2024, at 8:28 PM, Reese Lewis, 19, from Wahpeton, was driving a 2020 KTM Juke 390 motorcycle eastbound on 55th Ave S from 38th St S in Fargo. He lost control of the motorcycle and struck the south curb, causing him to be ejected and hit a light pole. Reese was transported to Essentia Health, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Following closely, Devin Privratsky, also 19 from Wahpeton, was driving a 2002 Yamaha V-Star motorcycle. Devin attempted to avoid Reese’s crash but overturned his motorcycle. He sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Essentia Health.

These incidents are being treated as two separate crashes and are under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
